About

GUANGZHOU PAINTING ACADEMY IS A PUBLIC WELFARE, FULL-DIVISION-LEVEL INSTITUTION SUBORDINATE TO THE GUANGZHOU MUNICIPAL CULTURE, RADIO, TELEVISION AND TOURISM BUREAU. ESTABLISHED IN 1982, IT IS CURRENTLY HEADED BY SONG LUJING AS THE DEAN, WITH LUO YUXIN SERVING AS THE VICE DEAN. THE ACADEMY IS PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN THE CREATION AND THEORETICAL RESEARCH OF PAINTING AND CALLIGRAPHY ART, ORGANIZES THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL INDUSTRIES IN FINE ARTS, AND CONDUCTS ART EXHIBITIONS, COLLECTIONS, ACADEMIC EXCHANGES, AND EDUCATIONAL PROMOTION ACTIVITIES. ITS DIRECTLY AFFILIATED INSTITUTION, THE GUANGZHOU PAINTING ACADEMY ART MUSEUM, IS LOCATED AT NO. 66 NEIHUAN WEST ROAD, PANYU UNIVERSITY TOWN, FEATURING PROFESSIONAL EXHIBITION HALLS AND MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SPACES DEDICATED TO ARTWORK DISPLAY AND ACADEMIC EXCHANGES.
